How can I like Katy Perry and Neko Case but not Taylor Swift? Because Neko Case is alt-country and Taylor Swift is pop-country. Saccharine Katy Perry is tolerable but Taylor Swift is not. Algorithms can&#8217;t always identify social groups and their nuances.<\/p>\n<p>The article also linked to an interesting <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fastcompany.com\/pics\/people-pandora-slideshow#0\">slideshow of Pandora&#8217;s music analysts<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>EDIT: It&#8217;s hard to note that the only woman featured in the slideshow is a prop, posing as an upright bass (or cello?) on Slide 8.
